Samal Island Divers, or SID for short, started out with a vision. A vision that intends to deliver quality scuba diving lessons and trainors at one of the most beautiful dive settings in Asia.

The instructors of S.I.D. are internationally trained by one of the world’s most outstanding and committed PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Course Directors Mr. Christopher Owen. What these scuba diving professionals learned from Mr. Owen have made them highly competent, efficient and qualified in the profession they’ve chosen inculcating the same discipline and standards to their students.

S.I.D. is headed by Mr. Oliver B. Ramos who happens to be the only PADI IDC staff at present in Davao City, making him the most upgraded and qualified instructor an amateur diver can get. We also offer a lot of specialty courses like Deep Diver, EAN (enriched air/nitrox) Diver, Underwater Photography, Night Diver, Wreck Diver, and etc.
